Liddel Park Country Cottages

Liddel Park Country Cottages comprise 3 self-catering cottages refurbished from a former hunting lodge on the edge of the Kielder Forest. Situated close to the Scottish border, some 16 miles north of Carlisle and surrounded by woodland and countryside, this is a peaceful and secluded location to enjoy a relaxing break.

Each cottage is well-equipped and has attractive décor, sleeping 4 guests, with an open plan living area, a double, a twin bedroom and bathroom. Outside, each has their own patio area with barbeque and space for car parking. With many trails leading into the forest from the front door they are ideal for all outdoors enthusiasts.

Try sailing and water skiing on Kielder Water or enjoy wildlife spotting for birds of prey and red squirrels. Go hiking or biking in the Lake District or along the Solway Coast and see Carlisle, a historic city with a cathedral, 12th century castle and Hadrian’s Wall Trail, as well as plenty of shops and other amenities.
