The Waverley Hotel

The Waverley Hotel situated in the historic seaside town of Whitehaven is a grand Georgian establishment built in the 1800s, just a short walk from the harbour, railway station and museums. There is free parking and secure bike storage for those embarking on the Sea to Sea (C2C) cycle route which starts in Whitehaven.

There are single, double, twin, triple and family rooms available; most of which have their own en suite facilities. All rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and include a TV, free Wifi and a beverage tray. A hearty full Cumbrian breakfast is included in our room tariffs to ensure guests have a good start to the day.

The hotel’s restaurant serves home-made fayre for lunch and dinner, and our Sunday Lunch is not-to-be-missed. Our meat is locally sourced from Haighs butchers in Whitehaven and our potatoes are grown in Nethertown. There are options for special diets and a bar stocking a wide range of drinks to suit all tastes.
