West View House

West View House is a large Victorian cottage situated in the scenic hamlet of Acton, near the village of Langton Matravers and 3 miles outside of Swanage. A former quarryman’s residence, with much of the original and characterful architectural features still retained, it has been sensitively modernised to offer a charming self-catering holiday home for up to 6 guests.

This lovely cottage has a lounge with a wood burning stove, sofas, a TV, DVD player and dining area. There is also a conservatory, fully-equipped kitchen, double bedroom, en suite twin room, a single room with extra pull-out bed, plus a bathroom, shower room and downstairs WC. The cottage has central heating, with underfloor heating in some rooms. Outside is a pleasant courtyard area.

The nearby village of Langton Matravers has a museum, pub and children’s adventure farm. There are many walks in the local area including the South West Coast Path or Priest’s Walk Way. Swanage is a popular seaside resort with lots of attractions and amenities including an award-winning sandy beach. It is situated at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
