High Reins

High Reins is a Visit England 4-Star rated B & B located in the historic market town of Hexham. Dating back to the early 1900s and situated in a quiet residential area with large garden, it is within walking distance to Hexham Abbey and the town amenities. There is off-road parking, and walkers and cyclists are very welcome.

Choose from our 6 bedrooms, which are well-appointed and include central heating, en suite facilities, TV, Wifi and a hospitality tray. There are single, double, twin and ground floor rooms, with a lounge/diner for guests to relax in and watch TV. A delicious breakfast is included to ensure a good start to the day.

We also have a 2-bedroomed self-catering apartment for 4 people if preferred, with its own kitchen, lounge area and bathroom. There are many interesting places to visit in the local area including Hexham Old Gaol, Hadrian’s Wall, Vindolanda Roman Fort, Hexham Racecourse, Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines.
