Senwick Hideaways

Situated in a quiet, rural setting on a farm and alpaca trekking centre next to Senwick Wood and near Borgue, Senwick Hideaways comprises a luxury eco-bothy nestled on the banks of a lochan. We are approximately 6 miles south of the harbour town of Kirkcudbright and the Solway Coast area offers plenty of walking, stunning scenery and quiet beaches for total relaxation.

The Secret Studio is an eco-friendly bothy built from sustainable materials and powered by solar energy. Offering an escape for 2, there is a sitting room with wood burning stove, sofa and floor-to-ceiling dual-aspect windows looking across the water. There is also a vibrantly decorated living / sleeping area with gas hob, kettle, fridge, cafetiere, double bed and patio doors leading outside to a seating area and car parking space.

Babies are welcome and a travel cot can be provided. Breakfast hampers, barbeque packs and chocolates can also be provided with prior arrangement. Fun-filled alpaca treks are available for 2 people, groups, corporate events or even weddings. Please see our website for more details.
