Hopetoun Arms

Considered the highest hotel in Scotland, The Hopetoun Arms in Leadhills is a Grade B listed building situated nearly 1300 feet above sea level, in the Lowther Hills, only 9 miles from Sanquhar. Steeped in history and part of the Leadhills Heritage Trail, this hotel provides a welcoming haven for short breaks and holidays.

The bedrooms are decorated with traditional tartan furnishings and each has en suite shower room facilities. There are double, twin, quad and family rooms, plus a superior super king / twin and a ground floor wheelchair-friendly double / twin room.
