Furzedon Bed and Breakfast

Furzedon offers an excellent location for exploring the area, situated in the little village of Merton, between Okehampton and Bideford, it is one of only 4 new cob houses to have been built since the early 20th century. Although built from traditional materials, it has all the modern amenities and facilities to ensure that you have a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing stay.

Our two guest bedrooms are both en-suite and both have French doors opening onto a patio that also serves as your own private entrance. Each room is furnished to a high standard including quality bedding and linen, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi fi connection in the atrium. Awake to a hearty breakfast, served in our light and airy atrium with views across the garden and valley. We offer a full breakfast together with cereals, fruit and yoghurts. Our English breakfast is freshly prepared from mostly locally sourced ingredients and special diets can be catered for.

Merton is the ideal situation to discover the many delights of Dartmoor, North Devon and the Cornish coast. There are may attractions and activities within easy reach and we are a haven for walkers and cyclists with the access to the Trail is only 1 mile away. We have ample parking. Secure storage for bicycles/fishing gear/wet suits/surf boards. With so much to see and do you will be spoilt for choice here!
