Nestled within West Yorkshire’s beautiful Holme Valley, Cross Farm Barn comprises 3 holiday cottages converted from a 17th century former barn on a working farm. The cottages have been sensitively refurbished, retaining their original rustic features, whilst now offering Visit England 4-Star rated amenities for a self-catering holiday, on the edge of Holmfirth.

Two of the cottages sleep 4 people with a double and twin bedroom, while our third cottage sleeps 2 in a double room. Each has a lounge with digital TV, DVD player, and window seats, plus a fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine, cosy sitting room upstairs in the loft space for quiet reflection or for children to play in, and a bathroom. Outside is a patio area, shared garden and parking. Fresh eggs are available from the farm.

Holmfirth is a small market town that sits just north of the Peak District, in the southern Pennines and 5 miles south of Huddersfield. It is famous as the place where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed. The town centre features a selection of cafés, restaurants, traditional inns and the independent cinema, The Picturedrome. There are many scenic bridleways, walks and cycling routes in and around the local area.
