Poachers Hideaway Cottages

Poachers Hideaway Cottages are 6 self-catering holiday properties in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Hornchurch. Each one has been carefully converted from a former farm building and is nestled in over 150 acres of ancient woodlands, water meadows and pastures, providing an idyllic setting for a well-deserved holiday.

Choose from The Snug, a studio cottage for couples; three 1-bedroomed cottages for 2 guests, a 2-bedroomed cottage for 4 guests, Shire Horse Barn for 7 and The Granary for 8 with its own private hot tub. Apart from The Snug, which can be used as an add-on to the other cottages with a basic kitchen, all have a fully-equipped kitchen, plus a modern bathroom and private outdoor patio.

Dogs are welcome in any of the cottages and there are miles of private footpaths on the farm to explore. There is also direct access to the Heritage Bridleway and Viking Way, along with many pathways across the Wolds. There is also on-site coarse fishing with carp, tench, roach, bream and some brown trout. Poachers Hideaway lakes are for the exclusive use of our guests.
