The White Tower of Taymouth Castle

For a unique and luxurious holiday home hosting views across Loch Tay, come to The White Tower of Taymouth Castle in Aberfeldy. Originally built as a lookout tower in the early 16th century, it has been renovated to provide Visit Scotland 5-Star rated self-catering facilities for up to 4 guests, with its own hot tub on the top of the turret!

The ground floor has a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area and French doors opening out onto the terrace for al fresco dining, as well as a comfortable lounge with leather sofas, TV and wood burning stove. Four steps down is the utility area, sauna and shower.

The wee library and the en suite guest bedroom with a double bed is on the first floor, and the spacious master bedroom with ornate bed and private bathroom spans the first and second floors. Continuing up, a set of circular stairs leads to the rooftop terrace boasting spectacular views and the hot tub.

Outside is a gravel driveway and large lawned area around the property. The Tower’s grounds extend to 8 acres and guests are welcome to walk anywhere, even in fenced off areas. There is ample parking, an adjacent woodshed and access off the A827 is via a private road.
