Lock View

Lock View is a beautiful terraced stone house situated along the canal in the West Yorkshire village of Marsden. A lower ground floor studio apartment accommodating 2 or 3 guests, it provides a quiet and scenic location for those who enjoy walking and cycling, or as a base for exploring and sight-seeing in the Peaks and South Pennines.

The comfortable open plan living / sleeping area has attractive wood-panelled walls and slate flooring, and is equipped with central heating, a double bed, sofa bed, television, small kitchenette area and an en suite wet room. There is also a conservatory with seating and space for the storage of bikes and equipment.

The shared garden leads down to the tow path, with additional seating located by the lock where you can watch boats come and go. A small café is found a short walk along the path, and there are plenty of shops, a pub and places to eat in the village. National Trust Marsden Moor Estate surrounds the village to the west and south.
