Old School Penallt

Old School Penallt is a beautifully refurbished stone-built 19th century school offering self-catering accommodation for 6 people, in this pretty village in the Wye Valley near Monmouth. Full of charming features including vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a stained-glass window, it is ideally placed for family holidays in this scenic area.

The large open plan living area has a wood burning stove, 3 sofas, a TV, kitchen and utility room. There is a separate snug with an armchair, sofa and desk, plus a ground floor en suite bedroom which can be arranged with a king size or twin beds, with patio doors to the garden. The 2 king / twin bedrooms upstairs both have en suite shower facilities.

Wifi access and central heating is available throughout the property. Dogs are also welcome to stay. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio at the rear, with off-road car parking at the side of the house. There is a children’s play area adjacent to the accommodation and a country inn serving hot food and drink just a short walk away.
