Lea Cottage

Lea Cottage is a beautiful timber-cladded guest house situated in Strontian, near Acharacle in an elevated position offering uninterrupted views across the surrounding woodland and towards Ben Resipole. Dating back over 200 years, it has been rebuilt with reclaimed materials to retain its original charm whilst providing all the contemporary facilities.

Guests can relax in the sitting room on the first floor with its vaulted ceiling and triple-aspect glass glazed front looking across the garden. There are 4 bedrooms; all with en suite bath or shower room facilities, FreeSat TV, free Wifi and a hospitality tray. Thistle is a double bedroom with French windows opening to a Juliet balcony; Bluebell is a double; Clover can be arranged as a super king or twin room and Primrose is a single. Breakfast is served in the conservatory dining room, made from fresh produce grown in our own garden when in season.

Strontian village is spread out over a wide area, but has a small population. Lea Cottage is near the heart of the village, and is in easy walking distance of many of its amenities. There is a well-stocked mini market, Post Office, a pottery, art galleries and a craft shop with tourist information. Visitors will find many walks round the area on designated footpaths, and also hills and mountains over which you can hike.
