The Bayview Hotel

The Bayview Hotel is situated along the shore between Rothesay and Craigmore on the Isle of Bute. Dating back to the Victorian era, this characterful building is a Visit Scotland 4-Star rated hotel hosted by owners Irene and Andrew. The Bayview is only a 15-minute walk from Rothesay town centre and the ferry terminal.

The 10 bedrooms are light and airy, with some hosting uninterrupted sea views. There are flexible super king / twin bedded rooms, an elegant 4-poster room and luxurious suites on the top floor with a private lounge area. All are equipped with en suite bathrooms except the 2 single rooms which have private facilities. Each room also has a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray.

After a comfortable night’s sleep, a full Scottish breakfast, porridge or other lighter option such as eggs-how-you-like is served in the morning. Guests can also relax in the licensed residents’ lounge or outside on the sun terrace in good weather. Free car parking is available. Please note, The Bayview closes over the winter months.
