Amlwch, on the north-east coast of Anglesey, is rich in industrial heritage. In its mining heyday, the town was one of the busiest ports in Wales. The old harbour at Port Amlwch is well worth a visit with its new Copper Kingdom Visitor Centre. Other things to do in the area include Treath Lligwy, Lligwy burial chamber, the RNLI Moelfre lifeboat station, the Mynydd Bodafon and the Din Lligwy.
