This attractive, self catering former 18th century cottage offers guests a peaceful retreat in the idyllic countryside. Recently renovated to a high standard and awarded a 4 star Gold Award from Visit England, it would make an ideal base for an intimate or family holiday .

Inside, the original features like oak beams and high ceilings have remained, but decorated to give a modern, fresh appearance. Able to sleep up to 4 or 5 people, it has a main bedroom housing a king size double bed and en-suite facilities and a twin room. Both offer comfortable beds, and fine bedding, and glorious views across the countryside. Downstairs is an open plan lounge/dining area with a wonderful log burner that you can enjoy in the cooler months. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer, oven and hob. During the summer months, you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the evening sun.

Located in the Cotswold village of Marshfield the Kissing Gate Cottage is close to local walking and cycling trails, and 6 miles from the historic city of Bath.
