Culmhead House

Culmhead House is a warm and welcoming family-run bed and breakfast near Taunton. We are ideally situated in a peaceful, rural location, just 10 minutes from the A303, M5 and Taunton town centre. Culmhead was built in 1850 and originally set in some 500 acres of its own grounds. You are free to explore our extensive grounds and gardens which are the perfect setting for your holiday.

Our suites, Beech, Maple, Mimosa and Camellia, are situated in the Manor House and all provide one or two bedrooms, sitting room, dining area, bathroom and a kitchen. Camellia is our latest addition and it offers a large bedroom with bathroom and wet room. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. Our televisions are connected to Sky TV and we have Wifi connectivity in most of our rooms. Breakfast is served in our spacious and light dining room where you will find fresh fruit, cereals, bread, pastries and a superb Full English using eggs from our own hens. Everything is freshly cooked-to-order using the highest quality of local ingredients where available.
