Hunter Holiday Cottages

Hunter Holiday Cottages are located in rural Midlothian, close to Edinburgh, just 10 miles south of the city centre. We are Scottish Tourist Board 3-Star accredited for self-catering. The cottages are set within rolling countryside on a farm, and both cottages booked together are ideal for larger groups. Full oil fired central heating, logs for the log burning stove, electricity, duvets, linen and towels are all included.

Kyle and Carrick Cottage were once the coachmans lodgings for Whitehill House, dating back to the early 1700s. Kyle is situated on the ground floor level of the old coach house. It is entered through the original stone archway and has a light, spacious feel, with country style kitchen, wood burning stove and original fire place. A corridor takes you to the double and twin room, each having a door opening onto the private patio. Kyle is suitable for wheelchair access with large walk-in wet room.

Carrick is an upper 2-bedroomed level with Kyle below. Carrick has a large kitchen / living room. The room has a fireplace with wood burning stove, a country style dresser, dining table and well-equipped kitchen. A door leads to the conservatory and balcony. Off the hallway are a double and twin room. The double has its own en-suite with jacuzzi bath and shower.
