Laundry Cottage

Welcome to Laundry Cottage, situated in the hamlet of Shielfoot, just 2 miles from Acharacle in the western Scottish Highlands. This is a 2-Star Scottish Tourist Board accredited self-catering property. The cottage forms part of an old servants block and has been carefully renovated, retaining many original features. It is set on a quiet single-track road in a peaceful location. The cottage sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, with a large family room, fitted kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We are dog friendly.

Laundry Cottage is perfect as a base to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula with its wild and rugged landscape. Visit historic attractions, glorious gardens, relax on sandy beaches, get active in the water, or seek out some of our rare and abundant wildlife. The area provides a range activities and pursuits to suit all interests. You can take a trip to the lovely towns of Fort William and Mallaig, as well as exploring the many islands in the region. Loch cruises, fishing, golf, hill walking and cycling are all popular in the area.
