Fairboroughs Horse Riding Holidays

Fairboroughs Horse Riding Holidays specialise in providing you with a relaxing holiday with your horse, based on a historic working farm nestled 3 miles north of the pretty market town of Leek. It is a working beef and sheep farm set in 150 acres of rolling hills and woodland on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Non-riding guests are also welcome.

Most riding holiday visitors choose to stay in 4-Star Wren Cottage. This is a beautiful 16th century converted stone barn, originally used to accommodate milking cows and calves. It is fully fitted with all the comforts you could expect, including bed linen and towels. Alternatively, you may prefer a local B and B, or to stay in the grooms compartment of your own horse box, for which hard standing is provided.

Secure paddock grazing and stabling is available all year round. Hay and straw bedding is also provided. Since all horses have different dietary preferences, we recommend you bring your own food. If you are staying for a long period of time or you cannot transport your horses food, we have a very reliable local equine supplies store.
