Brock Scar Cottage

Brock Scar Cottage is a charming 4-Star self-catering holiday cottage overlooking Grassholme Reservoir. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside and the rolling green hills of Teesdale, the cottage has been lovingly restored by owners Ian and Wynne to blend original features with modern facilities. There is a comfortable sitting room with a beamed ceiling, stone feature fireplace, Sky TV and DVD and a fully fitted kitchen with dining area. There is a double bedroom with original cast iron fireplace and a twin room. Outside is the cottage garden with seating area and plenty of private parking. Water is supplied from our own spring which is tested regulary by the local authorities.

There is so much to do for the whole family on the reservoir including fishing, canoeing and sailing, with fantastic walks around it and spaces for picnics. The nearest pubs are 2 miles away in the village of Mickleton, and the market town of Barnard Castle is 11 miles away.
