Avelin Cottage

Avelin Cottage at Kirkstone is a charming and cosy self-catering cottage, sleeping 2 and all on ground floor level, just a mile from Barnard Castle, in Teesdale, County Durham.

The cottage comprises an L-shaped living space with comfortable leather chairs, a television and DVD player, plus a fully-equipped modern kitchen and dining area. There is a double bedroom with wardrobe and cupboard space, as well as a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is free Wifi for guests. Adjacent to the cottage is a drying room, complete with washer and dryer. Outside, the cottage has a pleasant outdoor garden area with parking available.

Avelin Cottage is convenient for the stunning scenery in the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales. The cultural market town of Barnard Castle has Bowes Museum, great shops, restaurants and much, much more. There many local footpaths and a golf course nearby, so there is always plenty to see and do.
