Old Gortan Schoolhouse offers a comfortable self-catering holiday home in Bruichladdich on the Isle of Islay. Dating back to 1880, this Grade B listed building has been involved with schooling the island inhabitants right up until it closed its doors in the 1970s. Today it has been refurbished to offer a fantastic 2-bedroomed cottage along the shores of Loch Indaal.
The living room includes a comfortable 3-piece-suite including sofa bed, with Wifi, TV and DVD. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, a master double bedroom and additional bedroom which can be made into twin beds or a king-sized bed. Outside is a private garden on 3 sides of the cottage with off-road parking available.
