Warkworth Old Post Office

Warkworth Old Post Office and Bistro is a Grade II listed building offering a comfortable place to stay and fine food in this picturesque village. Dating back to the 18th century where it served the local community as a Post Office, today, you can expect the highest levels of service and hospitality from owners Helen and Richard.

Our rooms offer decor inspired by the sea and are named after the flora found in our coastal waters. All have en suite shower rooms TV, DVD player, hair dryer and well stocked beverage trays. We have double, king size and twin rooms, with the option of booking Sea Holly and Samphire together for families and well behaved pets. We have a garden with comfortable chairs and a guest lounge, plus drying room and secure storage for bicycles. A hearty full English breakfast is served in our dining room Bistro with a choice of kippers or griddle cakes also on offer. Our Bistro is open on Friday and Saturday evenings for delicious homemade meals and we only use the finest locally sourced ingredients.
