Broadgate House

Broadgate House is a beautiful Georgian house with views across the Duddon Estuary. The grounds comprise a large and well-stocked walled garden, a croquet lawn and a series of terraces. The Broadgate Estate falls within the Lake District National Park and comprises 550 acres of rolling farmland and Lakeland fells.

Owner Di offers a warm welcome, great hospitality and provides bed and breakfast in either single or double rooms. Each room is unique and wonderfully comfortable with an olde-world charm. Bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms, but guests do not share facilities with those from differing parties. A 3-course evening meal with wine is also available.

The surrounding area offers glorious sandy beaches, superb walks, fell-climbing and more. The small market town of Broughton-in-Furness has several excellent inns and restaurants and nearby Millom provides a range of other facilities, including a railway station.
