The Fort House is a beautifully-preserved home located in the grounds of the mid-16th century St Mawes Castle. Also used as an observation post during the Second World War, today, it offers well-appointed self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests, with stunning views out to sea and along the Cornish Coastline.
All on ground level, there is a comfortable living room with suite, TV, DVD and music centre. You will find a fully-equipped kitchen with washer dryer and dishwasher, separate dining area, double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Outside, there is a private garden and terrace area. Guests can enjoy free access to any English Heritage sites throughout your stay.
The town centre is only a short walk away where you can visit the picturesque harbour, sandy beach, traditional shops and galleries or the many restaurants and pubs. The coastal path also runs past for scenic walks along the coastline.
