Melbourne House & Easthorpe

Melbourne House and Easthorpe offer bed and breakfast on Buxton Road in the market town of Bakewell. With Grade II listed building status, we have been welcoming guests here for the last 25 years. We are convenient for local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and are just 3 miles from Chatsworth House. Alton Towers is a short drive away. We can cater for walking or cycling parties and are an ideal base for touring the area.

All our guest rooms are well-appointed with en suite facilities, TV and beverage tray. We have twin and double rooms but can cater for sole travellers as well. Our rooms are either based in the main house or in the adjoining Easthorpe Annexe. A delicious breakfast is included in our room rates and freshly prepared for you in the morning.

The B & B is ideally placed for walking, cycling and climbing in the Peak District with golf courses, fishing sites and many stately homes close by. The town offers shops, restaurants and tea rooms with the famous pudding and pie shops well worth a visit!
