Queen Anne House

Welcome to the elegant Queen Anne House, a boutique-style bed and breakfast on the Isle of Portland. Built in 1710 from Portland Stone by the architect Thomas Gilbert, who also designed St Georges Church on the island, many of the charming architectural features remain, coupled with contemporary comforts. The B & B has been rated with 4-Stars by the AA.

All our rooms are individually decorated with pastel colours, providing warmth and comfort. Each is equipped with stylish en suite bathrooms, a TV, Wifi and hospitality tray. Our romantic Oyster Room has a 4 poster bed, our Lotus Room has decor inspired by the Orient and our White Room has direct access to the garden. Guests are also welcome to relax in the drawing room and garden.

A full English breakfast is included in room rates and will be freshly prepared for you in the morning. We can also cater for vegetarian, vegan or gluten free diets. If you prefer self-catering then our 2 cottages near Chesil Beach can accommodate up to 6 guests. We can also offer special wedding nights for guests on honeymoon or celebrating anniversaries.
