This 16th century farmhouse in Thornthwaite is nestled in 2 acres of gardens with views across Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw and close to the C2C cycle route. There is car parking, secure storage for bicycles and equipment and a regular local bus service to Keswick nearby. Dogs are welcome.

Choose from twin and double rooms, which can be offered at a reduced rate for single guests. Guests can make use of the lounge and gardens to relax. A delicious full English breakfast is served in the morning to help start your day. We offer a special deal which includes an evening meal and packed lunch for cyclists following the C2C route.

Nearby Braithwaite has 3 pubs serving good quality food and a shop selling basic groceries. Keswick is the nearest town, on the shores of Derwentwater.
