Candlewyck Bed and Breakfast offers luxurious boutique-style guest accommodation in the picturesque market town of Ulverston. Dating back to the late 18th century as a candlewick factory, today you can enjoy fine service and hospitality from your welcoming host Sam.

Our private suite can be set up as a king sized or twin room with a sofa bed for accompanying children. Decorated to a high standard, there are contemporary en suite facilities featuring a walk in-shower with luxury toiletries and a hairdryer. You will also find a curved screen television, Wifi, mini fridge and a well-stocked hospitality tray with cafetière and pods for the Nespresso machine. For a extra fee a full Cumbrian breakfast, prepared with fresh local organic ingredients, will be freshly cooked for you in the morning on the Aga stove. Special diets are happily accommodated.

Guests have their own private garden with a stream and there is also car parking. Dogs are welcome and there is also stabling for visiting horses. Candlewyck has 7 acres of grounds and is surrounded by many scenic footpaths and bridleways.
