The Coach House is a self-catering stone cottage nestling in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, in Westerdale, a traditional dales village.

Dating from c. 1840, the cottage has leaded and mullioned windows, beams and many rustic features and antique furnishings throughout. On the ground floor is a lounge/dining room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with cooker, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. The first floor has 2 double bedrooms, and a single with extra pull-out bed, plus a family bathroom. Outside is a secluded garden with terraced seating area, and a gated drive with ample parking. You will find a welcome pack of logs and kindling on your arrival.

Recreation in the area includes fishing, walking and riding and undulating countryside is awe-inspiring in its sheer splendour and tranquillity. Westerdale is a perfect base for exploring the area and the Esk Valley Walk long-distance footpath passes through the village. There are numerous attractions in the area including Ryedale Folk Museum, Castle Howard and the market towns of Helmsley, Pickering and Kirbymoorside. There is also easy access to the coast.
