Great Sloncombe Farm

Welcome to Great Sloncombe Farm, a traditional Devonshire farmstead dating back to the 13th century offering bed and breakfast accommodation in beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Under 2 miles from Mortonhampsted, our farmhouse is an excellent base for stopovers or those touring the area and requiring a longer stay.

There are 3 bedrooms; Barley with its brass king sized bed and Victorian fireplace; Clover which can be arranged as a twin or king sized bed with country-style décor; and Cornflower, with king sized and single bed. All have their own en suite facilities, TV, DVD player, wind-up torches, silent running fridges and a beverage tray. Dogs are welcome and we have stabling for visiting horses.

A delicious full English breakfast is served in the dining room, that was originally the old dairy house. We use locally-produced ingredients including our own sausages, eggs from our own hens and tomatoes from our greenhouse. Special diets are catered for and packed lunches can be provided. Guests are welcome to use our gas barbeque or hire out our mountain bikes.
