Mount Tavy Cottage

Mount Tavy Cottage is a bed and breakfast with self-catering accommodation, ideally located a mile outside the historic town of Tavistock. Nestled in 10 acres of land with walled gardens, a cider orchard and lake, Mount Tavy provides the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Welcoming all travellers, including families, walkers, cyclists and pets, the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor are within close reach.

Our B & B is situated in our 270-year-old former gardener’s cottage. There is a king size room and a 4-poster bedroom with private bathrooms; as well as our 2 garden studios for 3 guests, with their own shower room, king size or twin beds and a single bed in the mezzanine area. All rooms have a TV and beverage tray with a choice of a full English or continental breakfast in the morning. We can also provide evening meals and use the best local ingredients and organic produce from our garden.

There are 2 self-catering cottages; The Wood Shed for 4 people, with double and twin bedroom and the Pump House for 2 people, with a double bed in the mezzanine. Both have open plan living areas with TV, Wifi, kitchen and shower room. We can arrange the delivery of basic provisions prior to your arrival and there is plenty of car parking. Mount Tavy can also provide the perfect venue for weddings and special events in our greenhouse-style function room.
