The Steadings Cottage

The Steadings Cottage is a traditional stone brick cottage in the small hamlet of Chesters, near Hawick, in the beautiful Scottish Borders. The cottage has attractive beamed ceilings and wooden floors, providing a charming place to stay for 4 or 5 guests, surrounded by an acre of gardens with an adjoining paddock area.

There is an open plan living area upstairs, with a split-level lounge and kitchen area. Equipped with comfortable seating, a TV, DVD player, Bluetooth music system and wood burning stove, this is a perfect place to relax. A beautiful double bedroom (which can also be set up with twin beds) has its own en suite shower room and there is another twin bedroom with a private bathroom. We can also provide a travel cot or camp bed if required. There is a utility room with laundry facilities.

The enclosed garden has a swing and access to a trampoline to help keep children entertained. There is also ample on-site car parking, secure bike storage and stabling for visiting horses. Dogs are also welcome. The owners Ros and Adam are very friendly and live next door.
