Friars Farm

Friars Farm is a 19th century farmhouse offering bed and breakfast accommodation on a family-owned farm just outside the village of Hatfield Heath, with views over rural farmland. The farmhouse is set in a garden of over half an acre with a pond, trees and pretty shrubs. This B & B is convenient for Stansted Airport, Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford.

The accommodation has been accredited by Visit England as 4-Star Silver Award rated, with 2 guest rooms and bespoke hospitality from owners, the Hockley family. The Rose Room is a double and The Lavender Room has twin beds. Both have en suite facilities. There is a shared lounge with Wifi, an open fire and lovely gardens where you can relax.

After a comfortable night’s sleep, a delicious farmhouse breakfast is served in the morning to set you up for the day ahead. There is plenty of car parking and Friars Farm is close to the M11 motorway and just 15 minutes from Stansted Airport. Hatfield Heath has tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. To the north is Hatfield Forest, open to the public and the best surviving example of a Royal Hunting Forest in Britain.
