Lion Cottage

Lion Cottage is an 18th century country cottage offering self-catering holiday accommodation for 4 or 5 guests in the village of Birchover in the Peak District. Full of charm and character, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and recessed windows, the house is also equipped with a host of modern amenities.

The comfortable living room has seating, a coal-effect gas fire, TV and DVD player. The kitchen includes a washing machine and tumble dryer and there is a separate dining room with a sofa bed, which can also be used as an extra bedroom if preferred. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom and a double en suite bedroom. Wifi is available throughout the cottage.

There is car parking, with a regular bus service from Matlock Railway station. You can find pubs and a children’s play park in the village. The Heights of Abraham and Gulliver’s World at Matlock Bath make great days out for the whole family and the Peaks are a popular destination for all outdoors enthusiasts.
