Broadmea Barn & Stable

Broadmea Holiday Homes have a beautifully converted barn and stable offering self-catering holiday accommodation, just 5 miles north of Alston. Nestled on an 1800-acre working sheep farm in the North Pennines and ideally located for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland, Broadmea has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for their excellent guest reviews.

The Stable can accommodate up to 6 guests and boasts a private hot tub. The Barn sleeps up to 10, with the benefit of a relaxing sauna. They can be booked together for parties or families of up to 16 people. Each has been refurbished to incorporate the original architecture with contemporary designs, to offer spacious open plan living areas with stylish furnishings. Both properties are equipped with free Wifi, underfloor heating, Freesat TV and well-equipped kitchens.

There is a shared garden, charcoal barbeque and secure storage for bicycles and equipment, with ample on-site car parking. Dogs are allowed in both properties by prior arrangement. The Pennine Way and Hadrian’s Wall are nearby for scenic walks and cycling. The town of Alston has local shops, pubs and restaurants where you can try a range of delicious local produce.
