Angela's Cottage

Nestled in the quieter area of Old Ambleside is Angela’s Cottage. Away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a 3-minute walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs in Ambleside, this cottage is ideally located, with excellent views of the mountains beyond. Owners Martin and Jo live next door, so will be on hand to offer a warm welcome and any help or advice you need.

Angela’s Cottage has a Visit England 4-Star rating and sleeps 2 guests. The cosy lounge has an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, TV and French doors leading to the patio area. There is also a well-equipped kitchen area and a bedroom which can be arranged as a super king size bed or with twin beds. There is a private garden, storage for bicycles and equipment and car parking in the lane.

Ambleside is a popular base for hiking, cycling, mountaineering and mountain biking. This area full of excellent walks and cycleways and you can follow many self-guided walks from the cottage or around Lake Windermere close by. There are also boat trips, fishing and golfing opportunities.
