Long House Cottages

Long House Cottages are 4 self-catering holiday homes in the beautiful Langdale Valley of The Lake District. Situated outside the village of Chapel Stile, with stunning views across rolling countryside and mountains, these lovely Cumbrian cottages sleep from 2 to 6 guests and offer a peaceful setting for holidays.

Yan, Tan and Tethera are converted stone barns catering for 2 to 4 guests. Long House is a traditional cottage with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests. Each provides a home-away-from-home and have characterful original old beams and stone walls. Guests will also find Wifi, Freesat TV and fully-equipped kitchens with a dishwasher. There is car parking and a terraced garden.

There is a local shop and an old inn in the village which serves food and local ales. Ambleside is about 6 miles away with its independent shops, tearooms, inns and restaurants, as well as a cinema, sports facilities and crazy golf. This is the perfect area for fellwalking the Langdale Pikes, Pike o' Stickle, Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark, Bowfell and Pike o' Blisco.
