Hotels, B&B's and Self Catering in Brampton

Brampton is a charming and ancient town with a wide cobbled main street and Market Place, surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Cumbria. Within the town centre is the octagonal Moot Hall, built in 1817. The main church in Brampton is St.Martin built 1874-8, famous as the only church designed by the Pre-Raphaelite architect Philip Webb, and contains one of the most exquisite sets of stained glass windows. Just outside the centre of the town is Capon Hill and Two miles east is the picturesque Lanercost Priory. You will almost certainly want to visit the Roman Wall which can be found less than a mile to the north of the Priory
