Broughton House Bed & Breakfast

Broughton House is a delightful bed and breakfast nestled in Cartmel Valley in the Lake District, surrounded by 2 acres of gardens. Owner Cate will ensure you have an enjoyable stay and be on hand to welcome you with a plate of her homemade scones!

There are 2 guest rooms in the house offering cosy furnishings and comfortable beds. One is situated in the east wing of the house and features a king-sized bed with shower room on the mezzanine floor above, and our other room has a more traditional en suite shower room and king size bed. Both rooms are well equipped with fridge, hospitality tray, TV and DAB radio. A hearty Full English breakfast is available, freshly cooked on our Aga from a variety of locally produced ingredients including eggs from our hens and our own homemade bread! We can also provide picnic lunches with prior arrangement, to take with you whilst you explore all the delightful sights and towns in the Lakes.

Broughton House also has a self-catering Garden House for 2 and a Yurt.
