Birch How, a Victorian Guest House built of local slate with a small garden at the front and car parking at the rear, is situated on Station Road just a stones throw from the shops, pubs, restaurants and swimming pool.

You can go boating, fishing, bird watching and more at both Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake, which are both within easy reach of Birch How.

Three comfortable bedrooms, each with TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities and central heating. One room is located on the ground floor for the less able customer. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room along with our evening meals where we are happy to accommodate all dietary requirements.

Private car park available. Free Wi-Fi. Discounted rates for longer stays. Easy access to Skiddaw, Blencathra, Derwentwater, Latrigg, Thirlmere.
