Lakeside Country Guest House

Lakeside Country Guest House offers a beautiful place to stay on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake with views across Skiddaw. This grand detached Edwardian house is just 7 miles outside of Keswick and offers both bed and breakfast rooms and holiday cottages. Your hosts Tim and Karen offer a warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

There are double rooms, twin rooms, triple rooms and superior rooms with lake views. Each is equipped with en suite facilities or private bathrooms, free Wifi, TV and beverage tray with homemade biscuits. You can also relax in our garden and enjoy a delicious breakfast with our own homemade preserves.

If you prefer self-catering, our 2 cottages nestled in the grounds, are a perfect choice. Meadowside Cottage can accommodate 4 guests with 2 en suite bedrooms and Lakeside Cottage can sleep 2 guests. Both have well equipped kitchens, a TV, DVD and welcome dogs. We have car parking for all guests and are only a short walk away from a great gastro pub.
