Albany House

Albany House is an award-winning guest house dating back to the 19th century, nestled in the historic town of Penrith. Close to the shops, bars and restaurants in the town centre and convenient for the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, we have been rated as 4-Star Gold by the AA, received an AA Breakfast and Dinner Award, and been accredited with a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

Retaining many original features, our rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. We have double, twin and family rooms, all with en suite facilities or private bathrooms. Each is equipped with Freeview TV, free Wifi, toiletries and a refreshment tray. We also have drying facilities and secure bicycle storage for cyclists and walkers.
