The Lounge

The Lounge Bar and Restaurant is a welcoming place to stay in the beautiful town of Penrith. Offering boutique-style accommodation, a delightful menu and acoustic music nights, it is the perfect place to stay for either holiday makers or business guests. Located in the Lake District, we are close to the M6 and A66 Trans-Pennine route and only 4 miles from Lake Ullswater.

Our rooms are stylishly presented with chic furnishings and private bathrooms. We have double, twin and family rooms all with desk space, refreshments, Wifi and room service. We also have a 3-bedroomed self-catering apartment available with kitchenette. A delicious home cooked breakfast is included and can be served either in our lounge restaurant or in your bedroom. We serve food all afternoon from sharing platters to scrumptious cakes! You can also relax with a cocktail or drink from our bar whilst enjoying Sunday acoustic nights.
