We have 2 guest rooms, both recently refurbished to give them a fresh feel. Castlerigg has a king size bed and en suite shower room whereas Mayburgh has a double bed with private bathroom and shower. Both come equipped with TV, hairdryer, Wifi and hospitality tray for making hot drinks. A delicious full English or vegetarian breakfast is included in our room rates. We use local ingredients and can accommodate a range of special diets.

The B & B has off-road parking and secure bicycle storage. The town’s railway station, opposite the ruins of Penrith Castle, is also within walking distance. Penrith has an excellent mix of traditional and more contemporary shops, as well as museums and other attractions. Walk up to Penrith Beacon or visit Ullswater, just 6 miles away, offering a range of water-based activities.
