Fisherground Lodges

Fisherground Lodges offer self-catering accommodation in the heart of Eskdale Valley in the Lake District. Our location is a wonderful starting point for numerous walks, either on the fells or along the banks of the River Esk. We can help you organise guided walks, rock climbing, ghyll scrambling and kayaking. Scafell Pike can be climbed from Eskdale.

Our 4 fully-equipped lodges are all 3-bedroomed and named Crag View Lodge, Barngarth Lodge, Field End Lodge and Wood Bank Lodge. The lodges share an acre of ancient orchard with fruit trees and a stream. All are south-facing. The shared laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment. There is also free Wifi internet access available on site, a rafting pond, games room and play area for children.

The famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Miniature Railway runs along the valley. There are good pubs in the Eskdale Valley, with the King George just a few minutes walk away. All serve good food and ales and welcome children and dogs.
