Hotels, B&B's and Self Catering in Sedbergh

Sedbergh is an attractive old market town, set in the magnificent western dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Close to the eastern fells of the Lake District, the town is dwarfed by the mighty Howgills. Rich in history, Sedbergh still shows clear evidence of the influence of the Saxons, Vikings and Normans. The town is full of character with cobbled streets and historic houses, some showing the hallmarks of the old knitting and woollen trades from which the community thrived. Just outside the town is Farfield Mill with four floors of inspiration await you in this former Victorian woollen mill. It was rescued and restored by local people and is now home to 16 outstanding artists and craftsmen.
