Waterfoot Park

Waterfoot Park is set in the grounds of a Georgian mansion with views across Ullswater. Our self-catering holiday homes, cottages and glamping pods, as well as excellent on site facilities, means that guests are guaranteed a very enjoyable stay. There are 3 self-catering cottages in the mansion incorporating original features with modern comforts. Each can sleep 4 to 8 guests. Captain’s Cottage is located in Pooley Bridge village close by and can sleep 6 guests. Our Glamping pods offer the perfect way to get back to nature. Timber built, each provides accommodation for 2 adults and up to 2 children, with heating, a basic kitchenette, en suite shower and outside picnic table. We also have 4 purpose built Hive Cabins and a campsite. Please see our website for full details of all accommodation.

There is a shop, bar and coffee shop open during the main season and there is free Wifi in this area of the park. Guests will also find a children’s play area, outdoor table tennis and badminton and scenic walks around the lake. The Ullswater Steamer is a short walk from the grounds where you can take a memorable trip across the lake. There are also various water activities available and you can find local shops and cafes in Pooley Bridge.
