Hotels, B&B's and Self Catering in Camelford

Camelford is an attractive, ancient town between Bude and Wadebridge. The town is situated on the River Camel and lies on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It is about six miles inland from the rugged North Cornwall coast, and legend has it that King Arthur and his Knights are a part of North Cornwall history, and that Camelford was the ‘Camelot’ of legend. Camelford is a great centre for touring, walking, fishing, swimming or surfing holidays in Cornwall. The town has excellent shopping and sporting facilities and is also the home of the North Cornwall Museum and Gallery which contains paintings and objects of local historical interest. To the north-west at Slaughterbridge is an Arthurian Centre, and to the east, are the hills of Roughtor and Brown Willy.
